THE CABARETS

CABARET 2011

The women are beautiful and elegant in their sequined gowns; the men have slicked-back hair, nicely pressed costumes and well-polished shoes. Where are we? Chicago in the 1920s? Who knows? With Les 7 doigts de la main anything can happen! This new revue is inspired by the golden age of cabaret and packed with original acts; it gives audiences all they could hope for and more. The festive ambience, relaxed atmosphere, live music, circus artists and special guests make this show a festival must-see.

Directed by Sébastien Soldevila and Isabelle Chassé

  • Le Cabaret 2010

To the special request of Montréal Complètement Cirque, Les 7 doigts de la main have prepared a cabaret full of surprises. The Québec troupe invites audiences to a festive evening as they revisit the golden age of cabaret for the first edition of the festival. In a delightful blend of circus acts and the warm flavours of jazz, seven multi-disciplinary artists share the stage with a surprise guest, creating a unique show each night. The result is a cabaret where the intimacy of theatre brazenly intertwines with the exultation and daring of circus.
