As co-founding artistic director of The 7 Fingers, Shana Carroll directed and/or co-directed Passagers, Cuisine & Confessions, Séquence 8, Traces, Psy, Loft, La Vie, Le Murmure du Coquelicot, and FeriAmuse (short adaptation of Amuse). Through 7 Fingers collaborations and special projets, she created the circus component of Queen of the Night at the Diamond Horseshoe in New York City and co-designed of the medieval segment of the Sochi Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony. Shana is well known for her acrobatic and circus choreography. She choreographed four gold medal-winning numbers at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris and directed Il Fait Dimanche for the National Circus School in Montreal. She has frequently collaborated with Cirque du Soleil, most recently as co-director of their first show on ice Crystal, and previously as acrobatic designer and choreographer of Paramour (Broadway) and Iris (Los Angeles), and as choreographer of their performance at the 2012 Academy Awards. Shana has received Best Choreography nominations at the 2008 Drama Desk Awards (Traces) and the 2003 San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards (Circumstance).

Isabelle Chassé co-directed and/or performed in 7 Fingers productions Temporel, Vice & Vertu, the third act of Triptyque, La Vie, and Loft. She was the assistant director on Passagers, Reversible, Amuse, and Psy, and a collaborator and performer in The Fibonacci Project. Isabelle has directed performances for numerous special events, including the inauguration of Montreal’s Vitrine Culturelle. In 2013, she served on the jury of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. Isabelle is the aerial coach on most 7 Fingers productions. In 2015, she co-directed the acrobatics in Moby Dick, directed by Dominic Champagne. For the past several years, Isabelle has sat on numerous decision-making committees and has played a leading role in the development of the collective’s Creation and Production Centre. 

Isabelle grew up in the circus, joining an international tour with Cirque du Soleil at a young age. Shortly after, she and the other young members of her contortion quartet won gold medals at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris and the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival. Isabelle performed in many other productions and projects including the film Martyrs and the Grammy-nominated short film Satie and Suzanne

As co-founding artistic director of The 7 Fingers, Sébastien Soldevila co-directed Cuisine & Confessions, Séquence 8, and Le Murmure du Coquelicot (which he also co-wrote), and co-created and performed in La Vie and Loft. Most recently, Sébastien co-directed Cirque du Soleil’s first circus show on ice, Crystal, with fellow 7 Fingers co-founder Shana Carroll. Upon invitation from the Musical Theatre of Moscow, he directed The Circus Princess, nominated four times at the Golden Mask Awards in Russia. Sébastien's other directing work with The 7 Fingers includes the opening segment of the Sochi Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies and performances at the Québec Pavilion at the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. 

Sébastien was a soloist with Cirque du Soleil from 1998 to 2001. A former five-time French National Champion (with partner Émilie Bonnavaud in acrobatic gymnastics), Sébastien oversees the acrobatic training on most 7 Fingers shows. Sébastien earned multiple awards at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris, including a gold medal for his hand-to-hand act with Émilie Bonnavaud (2007) and the Prix Nikouline for his diabolo duo with Patrick Léonard (2003).

Samuel is the creator and director of Bosch Dreams, Triptyque, and The Fibonacci Project. He co-created and co-directed Vice & Vertu and Intersection and was a featured artist in Triptyque, Le Murmure du Coquelicot, La Vie, and Loft. In 2014, he co-directed Luces Fugaces, a special creation for the Festival de las Luces in Medellin (Colombia). As the first international director invited by the Imre Baross Circus Arts School in Hungary to stage its annual show, Samuel directed Rengeteg – Looking Out in 2018. Samuel is currently the President of En Piste (the Canadian circus arts association). He is involved in research and development with the Canada Industrial Research Chair in Circus Arts in collaboration with key academics and industry leaders. 

Samuel’s hand-balancing career includes more than 1,500 performances of Alegria (Cirque du Soleil), several tours with Orchestra (Cirque Eloize), and performances in many cabarets. His work garnered several awards including a Bronze Lion at Wuquio Acrobatic Festival in China and a silver medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris.
