In 2006, The 7 Fingers performed a circus act specially created  for the Governor General's Awards Gala in Ottawa. The awards are among the most prestigious in Canada. Taking the stage under the pretext of a false acceptance speech, the artists enthralled a stunned audience with a group hand-to-hand number adapted from the show Loft.
